Conquerors

This post is encouragement for anyone who might be struggling to hold on to God’s promises or to hold on to faith for something.

He has promised us that we are more than conquerors, to conquer is to overcome an adversary, according to the Marriam-Webster dictionary. In Romans 8: 37, a massive revelation was shared, which was that we are more than conquerors through Christ! Not that we are conquerors, but we are “more”, amazing! Just because he loved us! This means that no matter what you are currently going through, even what you will go through in the future, you are more than a Conqueror. So do not be afraid, but adopt that title.

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

Following on, Romans 8:38-39 assured us that nothing in this world can separate us from the love that initially got us to be qualified as “more than conquerors”. I will just let that settle in for you.

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Many of us quote these scriptures but don’t actually meditate on it, to actually let the word sink in. I’m guilty of this. I plead with you to hold on to his word, and guarantee you, that God will keep to his word. Yeah, you may experience the pain that comes with  life, like VS 38 explains, but nothing will separate you from that love of God!!

What an amazing news! #That’sGoodNews
